Exercise can reduce the risk of falls

Lowell Center offers a variety of exercise programs for adults age 50 and older. Opportunities that range from independent activity for programs that meet the various needs of instructor-led.

Arthritis Foundation exercise class: a program designed to help people who have problems with and/or muscle joint mobility, achieved the increase muscle strength and endurance to improve the performance of daily activities. The next session started at 9 am 23 January. The six-week class will meet Monday and Tuesday in a running stream. The cost is $ 15 per person or $ 1.25 per class for drop-in. Advance registration is encouraged at the headquarters of Lowell.

Senior exercise: class that covers all bases, including walking, lifting weights and stretching, light hand all the while listening to great music. Classes meet at 10: 15 a.m. Tuesday and Friday. The cost is donating 25 cents.
